sick all the time!

Please help! 27 yr female, I used to hardly never get sick. In December of 2010, i developed walking pneumonia. Ever since that, its went downhill bad. Seems like I get sick every month with a fever and it stays for a month! I'll be better for a month, then it comes back! Most of the time its just a low grade fever with not many symptoms rather than chills and fatigue which is associated with a fever anyways. It is very tiring and takes alot out of me!of when i researched, first thing popped up was HIV or autoimmune. I got tested for HIV and was neg. But about three months ago, my lymph nodes in my neck, one in groin, and one on armpit became swollen. Now i have had a cold with a fever for a month and lots of yeast infections. I went to the hospital and my wbc was a little high, rbc a little low, and liver enzymes were a little low. Tested again for stds and HIV but were negative. I don't know what is going on with me but it seems since i had the walking pneumonia, i stay tired and/or sick ALL the time! Its exhausting with two kids and work! Can you please help?? What does this sound like??

Thank you! Hope you feel better as well. I went to the hospital over a bad cold a couple weeks ago. They did a wbc and that was it. All my symptoms mimic HIV. I am worried and sooo tired of being sick. What is a ANA test? And also. I actually started getting sick alot in 2010 when I developed the walking pneumonia. They tested it, I got better. But every month I'll get sick with at least a low grade fever and it lasts for a month! Its making my work life and being a mother very difficult! And its made me depressed and I feel gross. I don't even want to be intimate with my boyfriend. I just want a diagnosis. I hope you find out the problem and if you hear of anything else please keep me posted. Thank you!

Hi Niko, I am getting alot of your symptoms, and I got so worried I had my doc test me for HIV even though I knew it wasn't possible. Autoimmune disease can mimic the symptoms of HIV.

The only answers I have had so far was a positive ANA test. Get your doctor to check you for that. Also a blood culture will pick up any bacteria in your blood, have you tested for that?

I also had a really bad chest infection (not pneumonia) but to the point where i could hardly breathe, and I'd never had a chest infection like that in my life. Infact i'd hardly get sick too. so maybe there's some connection? I also have the lymph nodes.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you for your quick response. I will get the results and post them to you. I will start here.. The reason I have had HIV tests is because once my glands started to swell and I looked it up online, HIV kept popping up. Seems as if I have almost all the symptoms! I have had unprotected sex and come to find out the "perfect" guy I thought I was with was a meth user! So I don't know if he shot up or not. Also it was about a month after unsafe sexual contact that my glands started to swell. I also took the at home test for thrush already, spit in a glass of water, and I failed. I'm not to sure what ebv is but I looked into it. I have been tested for mono, it was negative. And I did see where it said that ebv has something to do with herpes and saliva. Would it be possible if I drank after someone who has genital herpes and they had it in their mouth at the time for me to contract ebv? I say this because my cousin came to my work to see me for the first time in a year and I drank after her. The next day she told me she had herpes and was going to the hospital because she thought she had them in her mouth. I only ask because it was only a couple weeks after that my glands, lymph nodes, started to swell. I have no idea what's going on but I do know something is not right!! ALSO I should have mentioned that about 11years ago I had a abnormal pap and they had to go in and freeze the bad cells. Well I am supposed to get checked every 3 months and I have not been tested in a while. Could these be symptoms of cancer from that??? And I will give you my blood results. Thank you so much for your time!!

Hi worriedbad123.

Walking pneumonia can be treated with MgCl2 Lab/Pharmaceutical quality.
Mix 1 oz MgCl/1L H2O daily, sipped VERY slowly throughout the day- to avoid laxative effects-, for 3-4 days. Ref. Dr.A Neveu (France)

Lymph nodes and low grade fever are definitely indicative of infection,
however, your tests returned negative results probably because:
1. The tests ordered were not the right tests.
2. The lab used is not qualified to detect certain key pathogens
(false negatives).

Did you get tested for Candidiasis? You should, as stress, acid producing diet, birth control (hormonal), antibiotics, lead to systemic fungal infections
You may do the saliva candida test -indicative but not diagnostic-on your own. Very easy and fast. Do a YouTube search.

Why the repeated HIV test? Is there a missing piece of information?

Your recent results being a little high or low, are not significant enough
for diagnostic purposes. Do you have the exact results?

Did you ever have an EBV infection?

Your walking pneumonia could have activated an underlying pathogenic infection. So it could be a constant cycling between active infection phase and  immune response (but not strong enough to arrest the infection, being compromised), which is consistent with what you posted.

Please provide these details, so I can give you some suggestions. This forum is totally anonymous, however, you may pm me directly if you prefer.
Take care.
Niko
