weird symptoms can someone help

Really have no ideal but here goes...

Used to be out in the sun and it never bothered me, now I feel like my skin is on fire if I am out for even two minutes. EXTREMELY sensitive to direct sunlight. IT REALLY HURTS. This came on about 2 years ago. Also, I started itching for no apparent reason several months ago and no one seems to know why. I have been to dermatolgist, and had my house inspected for bed bugs and bugs of all kinds. No one has any answers. Just seems that the two incidents could be related. Could this be some autoimmune disease that is being over looked? Really need some answers.
Thanks anyone

Hi.
This could be auto-immune, there are a few auto-immune illnesses which can cause the skin to feel burning and itching with sunlight.

First you need a full blood panel for auto-immune doing , this being ANA, Anti-DNA, ACA, LA, etc, etc.

Then also have your thyroid tested also by blood. Overactive thyroid can cause the skin to feel itchy, and burning. So can hormones.

Then i would get a full bloodcount done also including liver function tests.
The liver can make the skin itch.

Have you had any testing for this problem, if so post the results so i can take a look please.

There are multiple autoimmune illnesses, which can cause the skin to itch and burn, some off them listed Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Anticardiolipin Syndrome, Primary Biliary Sclerosis, etc, etc,
I would suggest a full blood work up is needed to rule out what could be causing this problem for you.

Good Luck
Nicola
