Igenex Testing

Dear Dr. Nicholson,

As funds are limited for me due to my protracted illness, I can currently pay for Igenex testing, but not a lyme-literate MD at this point in time.

I wondered if you are in a position to suggest which Lyme co-infections I should be tested for in addition to Lyme disease itself.  I spent the first 14 years of my life in New England and the last 28.5 in Northern California.

If so, I am grateful for any direction you may provide.  If not, I thank you for your time just the same.

Best wishes,
binx

I can tell you what we have found in terms of incidence of co-infections in California patients.  Perhaps that will help you in deciding which tests to order.

In CA Lyme patients:  Borrelia>Mycoplasma>Bartonella>Babesia>Ehrlichia, Anaplasia
