Yes, MSf is an autoimmune disease. I hihlyu recommend joining the National MS society and then join your local chapter. You can read more and more information every single day. Remeber, having MS does not disqualify you from making a difference. You as I do, can advocate for change and help others who are struggling with this disease. Learn everything you can and keep on learning. You may want to go to nationalmssociety.org/brochures and you can get many publications from The Basic Facts, The History of Multiple Sclerosis, to publications on Newly Diagnosed, Employment issues, Staying Well, Managing Specific Issues, Managing Major changes, And the list goes on and on.
Have you checked out MedHelp's MS forum ? It is a pretty active forum and they have a ton of information in their health pages.
