Ms or pinched nerve?

My signs and symptoms are I am cold all the time. I have little numbness/tingling in left hand first two fingers comes and goes at any time. I started with shooting pain down left leg and burning on top of foot and big toe area. Now it is just the burning, no shooting pain. This also comes and goes at any time. My left hip hurts, it feels like it goes out of place and hurts when I pull it up to stomach. Any ideas on what this could be. My neurologist wants to test me for ms, but I don't think that is what it is, at least I hope not.

Even if you went to a DO, I am not sure how they could deal with the peripheral neuropathies and other problems. Since you apparently do not have other characteristics of MS or other neurodegenerative diseases, you might consider that chronic infections are part of the problem.  Systemic infections like Mycoplasma often cause these problems, but in most patients other signs/symptoms are usually present as well, such as CNS symptoms, GI symptoms, cardiovascular problems, arthritis-like symptoms, etc.

I also get chest pain, but had an ekg and was normal. My neck also feels tender on left side and feels like there is a bone that is sticking out wrong. I told my doctor and he took x rays and said it was normal. Do you think I should go to the chiropractor.
