Of course a good diet is important. For example, eliminating simple sugar from your diet will help along with other several other suggestions (see the publication on diet and chronic illnesses on our website, www.immed.org under Treatment Considerations). Unfortunately, diet alone will not do the job, but it does help.
Thanks Doctor.
I think you are correct.I am having recurrent pharny Pharyngitis, tonsillary infections,if i have this,i am having concurrent pain around my nose like head ache (Flu),fatigue. It will be reduced if took any antibiotic or if the infection is reduced..I have hope to sortout this.! Can good diet & nutritions can reduce this infection soon?Keep good work here. Thanks a lot.Hopefully i will return you a reply soon,.Thanks again,.
They are transmitted via airborne route, fluid exchange and sexual intercourse. They can be suppressed by treatment, but the treatment takes time, usually over 6-12 months treatment.
Thanks!! Are these are cured by taking medicines?? Will these types of Infection can be transmitted Sexually or by air??because i had condoms during sex..I hope so!I will do these tests and i hope i will recover soon,.Thanks!!
Yes, all this could be related to a systemic infection(s). For some information on a few of the types of tests go to our website, www.immed.org under Clinical Testing. I don't suggest that all of these tests be done but two in particular that come up positive quite often are Mycoplasma species and C. pneumoniae.
For your info,i was told by my doctor that i have Urinary infection in my Urine test and elevated ESR in the blood test. Was this the cause for all my symptoms??was it transmitted by Sexual contact.i had condoms,it was protective.
Thanks a lot for your reply!! Could you please sugggest me the name of the tests to ruled out the infection which may be caused by STD.I hope it is definately not HIV because i have tested all the possible tests (Tested for Actual Virus and Antibodies at 3,6 months by different methods) even beyond the window period!! Kindly suggest me name of the tests,.Thanks in advance!!
If present, the possible bacterial infections I mentioned are usually not self-limiting infections, and they normally require treatment. However, some rare patients seem to tolerate them without having much in the way of signs/symptoms. I don’t think anything can be concluded about whether you may or may not have had a STD in the past that left you with a chronic infection. Often chronic infections do not even show up for weeks because they are very slow growing and penetrate slowly into tissues, and these same infections can obtained via repeated airborne exposure. They are usually not considered very efficient at infecting their hosts, so multiple exposures may be necessary for transmission.
I dont find any more words to say thanks to you!! Can i just conclude that i dont have any STD (Especially HIV) and EBV ??Hope my test results also reflect the same.
If i had any other viral infection like Chlamydia or Mycoplasma or other infections,Are these are Self limited??or do i need to take any medicine??Kindly advise me.This would be great!!thanks,.
I don’t think that you need any more EBV testing. EBV would be an unlikely infection as a STD. More likely would be Chlamydia or Mycoplasma or other infections, as these could eventually become systemic and cause fatigue and other symptoms. If mild fatigue is your main problem, then I suggest that you look into NTFactor to improve your mitochondrial function (www.ntfactor.com). In our clinical trials using NTFactor on fatiguing patients, CFS and/or FMS patients decreases in fatigue from 35-45% were found within 60 days on this all natural membrane lipid supplement.
Hi Doctor,
Thanks a lot for your reply. So the testing for EBV by Paul and bunnel method was correct which shows all recent and past infections??or do i need to proceed for IgG,IgM testing as well. For our info, i m now feeling quite well, symptoms were gone away except mild fatigue. But my mind is not settled asking me to know the reason for why it was caused as it happened after a sex exposure(i did all testing for STD all r negative). It would be great if you provide me the name of the test to do.Thanks a lot for a great man!!
EBV is a common virus that is found in most people in latent (inactive) and active forms along with anti-EBV antibodies. Whether this virus is causative for Mono and other diseases has been the subject of much discussion. Your testing could be expanded to include other viruses and bacteria that might fit better with your current signs/symptoms, because patients with non-classical Mono usually have other infections as well as EBV.
