Thanks, I will try that this weekend.
Hey...try pedialyte instead of gatorade. First of all, Pedialyte has less sugar and is more evenly balanced with electrolytes. Athletes who get progressive cramps do not drink Gatorade because it is more sugar than electrolyte replacement. Pedialyte is the drink of choice for most Olympic trainers.
Good luck,

Nah, I don't drink alcohol, it's illegal at 19 in the states. My cardiologist wants me to drink gatorade, but I hate the taste. I'm trying to drink more water though. I'll try to get more salt in my diet. Thanks.
Have you increased your fluid and salt intake, and have you ceased drinking alcohol (if you drank at all)? I ask this because it sounds as though your response is directly connected to a drop in blood pressure that leads to a loss of conciousness. You need to increase your blood volume by increasing fluid. Alcohol is a diuretic, and when you couple that with the depressive factors, it's not a good thing for vasovagal sufferers.
Hope the florinef along with lifestyle adjustments does it for you. We're here if you want to vent or discuss more.

I just keep fainting when I stand up, or stand for a long time. It never even happens when I'm sitting but sometimes I still feel really horrible then I faint as soon as I stand up. Even when I'm just going back to my room, I can't make it there.
Hi there. What's your Vasovagal response like?
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having in college. I too had trouble with my Autonomic Dysfunction in college. I hope the Florinef helps to relieve your symptoms very soon. Welcome to the community! :)
By the way... Do you play Lord of the Rings Online by some small chance? LoL!
My daughter and I are both on Florinef. It's working really well for me, but not as well for my daughter. There are other treatments available if the Florinef doesn't work for you. Good luck with college!
