Hot Clold Hot Cold

I have noticed that I can no longer tolerate the heat, but it seems that once im cooled down I feel chilled. Also, in the morning i have this same chilled feeling and even shiver and get goose bumps. Does anyone else have a hard time finding a happy medium. Thanks for the input.

I have had a huge problem with tolerance to both cold and heat.  Generally I just don't do temperatures changes well.  I do have Raynaud's and Hashimoto's as well as Pure Autonomic Failure.  It got so bad a couple of months ago that my core temprerature was almost hypothermic while I was in what others would call a normal temperature environment.

I have been concentrating on several things and I think my low thyroid and possibly adrenal fatigue may be my problem.  My doctor suggested taking adrenal supplements and high stress B vitamins as this combination can jump start your adrenals if they are low.  The way he explained this to me was that the tests in labs most often run only catches huge deficiencies... I have been on these for three months now and have been doing this under a doctors care.  My temperature tolerance has changed a lot.  My body temperature is trending higher although it still has not been 98.6.  I will be talking more with my doctor about my thyroid levels next.

I don't mean to suggest that this is everyone's problem with temperature regulation but it is something for sure to think about.  Not every doctor is open to treating suspected adrenal fatigue in this way.  My doctor reasoned that my changes in tolerance to BP and my hearts inability to speed up would be enough stress in itself to cause an adrenal problem.  I don't go around feeling stressed but I have had a career in a high stress environment and think for me this all makes sense.  Most people would consider me a cool person in an emergency...and I don't seem "nervous" but I definitely think the body recognizes stress from physiological strains as well.  Marie

I seem to like to be toasty to get to sleep.  But later, usually when I get up and my heart rate is likely at its worse, then I am sweating A LOT.  I know the blankets can't be helping the tachy situation any when I get up.  But being warm seems to help me get to sleep.

My son is the same way. One minute he's freezing so he puts on a long-sleeve shirt and then gets so overheated that it makes him get tremors. Frustrating.

Yes I have the same problem. Either r too hit or too cold. Going from hot to cool or cool to hot throws my body off too. I seem to get shivers when I first go to bed at night no matter what temps are
