pots chiari

hi do any of you with pots also have chiari malformation?  or  had mild spinal bifida when born?

i have pots and recently dx chiari also. symptoms started 8 years ago with unequal pupils...progressed to debilitating, all functions misfire, but have been told that a decompression may return me to 100%. took 8 long years for dx. rollercoaster at disneyland did me in this summer. symptoms are unbearable now.

My daughter was born with mild spina biffida occulta and has dysautonomia.  As far as Chiari malformation, we checked into this and she does not have the Chiari that most doctors recognize but her tonsils are borderline at the foreman magnum and she does seem to have crowding.  There are very few doctors that think this could be Chiari 0 but most doctors do not acknowledge that.  She also has mild Mitral Valve Prolapse and a left vertebral artery that does not connect to the basilar artery as it should.  It ends in PICA instead.  She also has mild form of Ehlers Danlos.

However, on the Chiari sites, I read that many people with Chiari have POTS.
