I just realized I never posted my story in here. I will soon enough though. Jesse was just 5 weeks shy of his first birthday, instead of him celebrating with us, we made a cake in his honor with his heart logo on it. (babyjesse.org) It's only been 6 months since I lost my precious boy to a horrible rare liver disease called Biliary Atresia. He did not receive a liver in time. He was always so happy and smiled at everyone. He never complained even though he went through so much pain in his short life. I miss him beyond words. It's been 6 months, and I sometimes can't bear the thought of never seeing him in this world again. I still cannot get through a day without crying and missing him. His older brother misses him too, even though he is barely 3.

Adriana was born at 39 weeks and was a healthy baby until the birth. Negligence during the birth caused severe birth trauma and ultimately a subgaleal hemorrhage. Adriana was our first child. She fought very very hard. She is extremely loved by so many people and was an organ donor who saved 2 other babies' lives.

Mia was born at 27 weeks due to me having sever pre-eclampsia and HELP syndrome. She survived for 16 wonderfully precious days and fought a good fight. She lost her fight to NEC.

Bailey was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Apert's Syndrome. Only 1 in every 200,000 live births will be diagnosed. Females are effected more than males. The gene is dominant and can be passed from father to daughter or father to son. It is usually seen in babies with older fathers.
She was my first baby. I was only 18 years old when I lost her.

Laylah Mary Margaret was born still at 22wks.
Born: September 22nd 2009.
Laylah was diagnosed with a "rare" genetic disorder known as Meckel-Gruber. I'm not sure how rare it is as we are finding many people who have experienced this as well.
