Had my u/s today, baby measured 8 weeks 1 day with a hb of 177. I still have the subchorionic bleed, although it has gotten smaller... I had spotting a couple times last week so I was so nervous for u/s, but all is well for now! Dr said the spotting was to be expected with the subchorionic bleed and not to worry... Hard thing to do when you have miscarried before... Now, just waiting till September 1st, my first appt with my regular ob!!

Hope everyone is doing well, and lil beans are doing even better!!!

Amy-Ah, that would most likely be why then. I started noticing I could see the outline when he turned a couple of weeks ago, he is head down already. It is definately distracting when he moves while I'm trying to have a conversation! Though he is generally a pretty quiet baby so it doesn't happen too often.

Steph-Wow, time flies! It seemed like yesterday you had her, although it seems like its taking forever for me to get to the end of this pregnancy! Glad to hear she is doing so well :)

So my test came back finally for the gestational diabetes. Its negative :) A big relief for me; I was so worried!

Steph - That's awesome!  You are so lucky she's sleeping so well for you!  My son ate every 2-3 hours until he was about 6 months.  It's always nice that she's breastfeeding so well too!  I'm so happy for you!

Hi ladies! Just stopping by to say hi.

Treatgirl- so sorry to hear your sad news, but very glad your doctor is going to do some testing.

Many congrats to new preggers and all other good news!

I'm enjoying this precious time with my baby, she is so amazing.  She is breastb feeding like a champ, and only wakes me up once a night! I can't believe she is 2 weeks old already.

MissmyAngel - Ah, well if it's a family thing with water retention that could very well be it.  Your dr might not check your thyroid while pregnant if he/she isn't worried, but if you have weight issues after pregnancy it might be a good place to start.

Most of the time I can't see the outline of the baby, but that's just how the baby's laying she hugs my spine a lot of the time and hangs out int the lower part in a ball.  When she's stretched out we can see a little more of the baby, although mostly it's just limbs sticking out.  It is pretty cool watching the baby, although when I'm in the middle of talking to someone at work and she goes crazy moving it defiantly distracts me.

Ugh, the swelling has started!  8 more weeks, my right foot is starting to swell up and it's driving me nuts!  It doesn't help that it's one of the hottest weeks :(  We have a heat advisory for this afternoon, I have no air in my car and I'm defiantly looking foreword to a nice cool fall!

Amy-Ha, ha. I love orange pop! IDK maybe its a family thing, my cousin said she liked it too, and I've been dreading it for weeks because everyone told me how horrible it was! No, I haven't had my thyroid checked. My OB didn't even mention the weight gain at this appt. I was sure I was going to be in trouble again since I've gained just as much as last time :/ I found out from my cousin that everyone in my family seems to have problems with water retention though, which could also be the cause. My belly is measuring perfect, though my thighs are covered in stretch marks from all the bloating. I'm down to appts every two weeks now, so maybe I should ask about my thyroid at my next one.

1angelbaby-Woo Hoo! You've reached the stage of potential viability :D Now is when the time starts to drag by though lol ;p

So since my birthing hospital is in a different county than where I live, its taking forever to get the test back for the gestational diabetes! Its been over a week. Hope it comes back soon!

So everyone nearing the end, can anyone else see the outline of their baby when they lean back? That is so cool and strange at the same time :D
