Oh - didn't even see this when coming back on!  I love this mikaleen - I love this!  I am so happy to see how everyone is doing...  Happy Birthday, yesterday, mikaleen!  Maybe I should just call you by your name - Aileen - why is it I get so stuck on screen names?  Ugh.  I'm good - 27 wks and counting, 26 pounds heavier (just so big!)  I hope all is well with everyone and love catching up on here, too, now.  SSBD to all who want and are looking for buns... :)

Debbie, after all the negatives always thrown out there about a woman's age, go ahead and take advantage of the positives!  
I know after my m/c's my Dr. got me in at 8 weeks for a viability scan.  She only checked my HCG and progesterone twice, and with a good rise she said an u/s would be more accurate at 8 weeks.  We went in and saw the heartbeat flickering away immediately, so it was wonderful. I can't see them turning you down if you asked for one, especially with your history.  Play the "age" card again if you have to!

Debbie that's so great you get to go in so early!!  HCG and progesterone are good, and yes, if it were me, I'd ask for a u/s at 8 weeks.

Happy Birthday Aileen!!!
I have my first Dr.appt today at 2:45!! I can't believe it.The office called and said they hada cancelation and could get me in.They said that I was priority and top of their list because of my age. Doesn't bother me at all.I am just so happy that I could get in this soon. I'll let you all know what happens.Do any of you have any suggestions of what tests or other things that I should ask for.I want my hcg and progesterone done for sure.Should I ask for an ultrasound to be done at 7 or 8 weeks?

Debbie, I had the same with the CM... in fact I can remember thinking AF had decided to show after all and had to keep checking every 5 mins as the abundance convinced me. I think it carried on for a couple of weeks and then settled down. I am pleased the headache went away.... keep flushing it away with the water!

I hope everyone else is doing well, I am doing good, I thought I had passed the sickness stage a few days ago but yesterday it hit me again like a brick wall and I was gagging at smells all day and rolling around with a horrible sicky belly feeling! I also noticed that my bb's have grown again!! My new tops I bought to accomodate my expanding waistline are now tight across the bustline so guess I am going to buy even bigger sizes!!! I feel so grateful that I have made it to the second trimester... such a huge relief.

Hugs for everyone and leaving a trail of babydust for all my lovely friends who pop in for their daily inhalation.... it will work soon, BFP's are just around th corner :-)

Hi ladies,
  Well just wanted to report that I am not cramping as much anymore and the headache has subsided.Whew!! Thank goodness!! My head  was killing me.I am drinking lots of water and it hs helped alot.  I do have a question though. I have had a very thick,white,creamy discharge for a couple days but this morning it was alot!!! It doesn't itch so I know it is not a yeast infection.Is this normal? It has been so long since I was pregnant I have no idea. I have to say I feel pretty good today.
  I am sprinkling baby dust on all of those ladies still on that train!

sorry to hear your news.  I'm glad your dr is going to do some testing.  Hopefully they will figure out whats going on and there is some type of easy remedy for the problem.  Take some time for yourself and when your ready then try again.

I'm sorry to hear you lost this pregnancy too.  I hope that they can find a cause at your follow up appointment so that they can fins a solution.  I also had 2 m/c last year before this pregnancy stuck, so it can be done.  I never had any testing, my ob's office waits until 3, she said 1, even 2 m/c are very common, which doesn't make any of us feel better, and I was lucky that was the case for me.  I really didn't want to go through 3 if there was something wrong that could be fixed.  I hope you feel better soon.

Hey everyone. I've been trying to find you all on here. I saw that TTC after miscarriages is now TTC & Pregnancy after a loss. The last time I posted on cycle buddies I had found out I was pregnant & was going to see the doc. I went to the hospital about 2 weeks ago because I was bleeding/spotting & cramping. I had a miscarriage in June so I was kind of worried. They did blood work & all that, came back fine. Then they did an ultrasound & only found a sac no baby. On the ultrasound it measured about 6 weeks. I called my doc to see what I needed to do & to make an appointment. They had me go for blood work on Thursday to check my HCG levels. They came back as 3000, low for being that far along but I wasn't really sure of my last period because of having the D&C in June. I went for another blood test on Monday & it came back 1900. I had an ultrasound this past Wednesday to confirm there was just a sac no baby. So the pregnancy started but the baby never developed. I had a D&C done on Thursday morning. I dunno what to think right now. I have a son that will be 3 in March & this is my 2nd miscarriage in 4 months. I'm just looking for a little support. We want to try again but I want to wait longer this time. The doc plans on doing lab work at my follow up appointment so they can maybe find out what is causing these miscarriages.

Hello ladies,
  My dh had a dream last night.In his dream, he woke up and there was a newborn baby boy laying on his chest.He didn't want to move because he didn't want to wake up the baby.He said that I came into the room and he asked who's baby this was.I told him that I didn 't want to wake him up but I gave birth while he was sleeping. Then he gave me the baby and the baby acted like he wanted to nurse.He said that I told him that I have to go feed the baby now and walked away.
   He said that it seemed so real and thinks that maybe this one will stick.
  I hope so.It was so nice to see him tell me that story. I know that he wants this one to work out but I just don't want him to get his hopes up too high.
