Calcium D Glucarate

I have been getting really bad headaches usually prior to AF and during and I asked my chiropractor about this today (he is also a nutritionalist) and he recommended increasing Calcium D Glucarate in my diet but also as a supplement.  It is found in vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower.

The purpose I guess is to remove the excess estrogen that might be in your system.  In doing some research, I guess it is also beneficial in detoxifying the liver and your body of harmful toxins and carcinogens.  I did find research linking the use of this for infertility as well.

I was wondering if anyone has ever taken this and if so, is it safe to also take your prenatal vitamin along with it since that also contains calcuim.

I did have bloodwork on cd3 last cycle to measure hormone levels and everything was normal, so I dont know if this is a problem or not.  I am just searching for anything.  I just don't know if it's safe to take the supplement along with the prenatal vitamin.  I forgot to ask him that and now with the holiday I won't be able to get ahold of him to ask until Monday...not sure what to do...

I like broccoli, but it doesnt like me...LOL....I wonder if the greens drink would work...is it really disgusting??

I've never taken Calcium D Glucarate, but your doctor is right about it getting rid of extra estrogen.  I did read that eating more greens and adding more fibre (like broccoli and cauliflower does help rid the body of extra estrogen, so I started doing this by eating more of these vegetables and even adding a greens drink to my diet, which you can buy at health food stores.  Improving my diet and adding the supplements my body needs has greatly improved my health and hormones.  Your on the right track Dana:)  GOD BLESS!!!
