Early positive preg. test after 2 chemical pregnancies

Hi all,

So I had 2 chemical pregnancies and after trying for 5 months I got a positive early preg test (first response) yesterday! I'm so happy but so scared at the same time.

Dr took my HCG level and it was 16 on day 23 or 24 (ok so very early, but is this # ok?). I'm going back tomorrow for them to take it again - I so hope it goes up! I'm also going to see a specialist tomorrow... so I think I'm going to be giving a lot of blood.

Anyone else in similar situation? I'm so nervous, I really want this to stay!

:-)

So update again...

my HCG went up to 401! YAY! My progesterone is at 12.7. The nurse said anything above 8-9 is fine... I guess I'd prefer my #s a little higher but I'm not the nurse.

So numbers look good! Got results yesterday for HCG and progesterone.

my HCG is 122! and my progesterone is 14.2 which they said is fine. So I'm definitely pregnant! I am taking just 100mg prometrium still orally.

I'm going back tomorrow for a followup. They took 15 vials of blood yesterday to test me for everything in the world I think!

Thanks for the good luck!!
