Thanks bridgette, the burping was one of the symptoms that kept me hopeful, that and the temp drop that you all said may be been inplantation dip.

northernsunshine - I think the biggest thing with the HSG is to relax.  The more you tense up the more uncomfortable it could be.  My dr had me take 600mg of Advil 45mins before the procedure.  No, they don't sedate you.  But it really is super quick!

I had mine in Feb of this year.  I apologize if I get some of the terminology wrong, but this is what I remember.  First you "assume the position" that every woman is oh so fond of . . . and then they place something on your uterus.  The dr will slide a tube in through your cervix so they can inject the dye.  This may pinch a little but was like 2 secs.  The most uncomfortable part was when the dye was actually injected.  It's like really strong cramping.  It only lasts about 30 secs, so still really quick.  I mentally pictured a BFP while it was going on.  While they are injecting the dye they also take x-rays at the same time.  That is how they know what is going on.  I would recommend bringing a pad with you, as the dye (and some blood) will leak back out through the remainder of the day.  Also have some extra Advil with you.  I didn't have any with me when I went back to work and had cramping through the rest of the day.  All in all, it's really not that bad.  Dr's say that an HSG will make you more fertile for up to 3-6 months after the procedure.  Even if you're tubes are not blocked it can still clean out some cobwebs.  I wish you loads of luck!!!  I know how nervewracking it is to finally make the steps to get checked out.

Lori and Jenn - keep on chugging :)

Steph - sorry :(

Rossie - you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear you are burping and constipated :p

Debs - I don't know what the upcoming months will bring for an IUI.  I only have the inlaws to worry about for X-mas and they know how hard we are TTC, so nobody expects anything from us.  Hopefully they read between the lines and can help us out with some cash presents :)  They know we keep trying for the IUI and that things are getting in the way (funny that my MIL knows when I O! - gotta love DH's lack of descretion)

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be able to start a new list this week.  If anybody else would like to jump in and do one, please feel free.

preciouspg - welcome aboard!!  All new members are free to just jump right in!

Welcome back northernsunshine, its good to have you back. You have a brand new cycle with new hope. As always we will be keeping everything crossed for you :) I hope all goes well with your tests this month

Bam, how are you doing with your super short cycle.. Are you still planning to get 1 IUI in this year if this month is unsucessful or are you waiting til after christmas?

Dana, Good luck if you decided to start with the clomid... do you still have to have all the blood work done if you do that? When I was percribed it I had to have 3 monitored cycles prior to taking it and then bloods only on CD21 or 7DPO.

Steph, sorry that stupid AF arrived :( Good luck with this next cycle.. :)

Mary I was so pleased to read your cysts are better - thats so wonderful, I am keeping everything crossed that you don't need the clomid this month and a miracle happens!

Lori & Jenn you are riding that train in the same carriage this month.... I am so hoping it pulls into the belly buddies station this month... that would really make my day/month!! Fingers crossed for you!

*************************** Sprinkling extra special baby dust on you all ********************************************

Northernsunshine- glad your feeling better:) I don't have any answers as I never had any test done, but I see it as a step in the right direction. Try not to be nervous(easier said then done) ((hugs))
