Frustrated!

I am so glad to have found this site, it is difficult to find other people who understand what you are going through, if they themselves have not.  I miscarried in late September, then had a cycle of my normal length in October and then a really short cycle in November. So, needless to say I have no idea what my cycle is anymore.  My last cycle was 22 days, I was normally 25.  Now today I am at day 22 and nothing.  So, do I get remotely hopeful, do I presume my cycle is adjusting back to its normal 25 day length, or do I sit here in limbo wondering what the heck is going on?  Sorry to unload, but I am really frustrated. We were so excited to conceive, my sister was pregnant and due in January, our babies would have been the same age and in the same grade at the same school, then the m/c happened. After that my best friend got pregnant.  I'm really happy for them, but it does make me a bit sad.

I think I have some info on Vitex somewhere.  Let me see if I can't dig it up.

I am so so sorry for your loss.  I can't even imagine the pain of losing your child to SIDS :*(

We have a few ladies in this forum who have PCOS.  One is peterjl and after a long time of trying she just got her BFP.

Have you looked into any natural herbs, such as vitex?  I know a couple of ladies who have been successful with it.

I too have fertility issues, not PCOS, but DH and I have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility.  So I've done a couple of rounds of Clomid and Femara, but we haven't gotten to injectibles yet.  I've gotten some cysts from the femara so I can relate to how incredibly frustrating that is!

We have lots of SSBD to go around here!!  Please feel free to join us on the cycle buddies thread :)

Hey everyone i am also very glad to find this site....I have been going with my own dilema...It has been 5 months now since my little boy passed from Sids...We have been trying since that happend. Not because i want to replace my baby boy but because for once i feel like life has cheated me big time...And just left me with an empty arms...I also have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. But she wasnt easy to have either...We have fertility issues....so neither to say my daughter took us 7 years to have and my little boy was a miracle just after 5 months of giving birth i got pregnant with MIchael but on June 28 my happiness seems to dissapaired....Dont get me wrong i love my little girl but it seems like i am missing something...So we tried to have another baby...But my pcos is getting worse....Last month was my first cycle with gona-f and at the end it didnt work. On dec 1 i got my period again so i went to see the dr. and he said i have 2 simple cyst so i couldnt go back in to the shots until my next cycle ...and here i am waiting....But now i found out that if i get my period before  Jan 5 I will have to wait until feb cause the clinic is close until then...So you guys sure can see why i am so frustrated too. Anyway pls if someone is going through like me let me know i feel so alone in here. Like no one really understand.

I'm sorry for your loss and frustration.  It is bad enough when we are forced to lose our dream, but then to have screwy cycles on top of it!  My experience from being on this site for over a year is that women often experience irregular cycles after a m/c.  It does take the body some time to get back to normal.

Don't get discouraged, we've had lots of women get their BFP's shortly after their loss.  But we also all know the fear of the dreaded BFN.

You can always go to a dollar store and get cheapy tests, if you feel that you don't want to be in limbo.  SSBD!

I also had a miscarriage in  march. I opted for a D&C and just like Steph said my periods were wacky, my normal period was 30 - 31 days but i had some as long as 35 -37 days. It took me 6 months and got my BFP in October and am currently pregnant. I hope you regulate soon and that you get your BFP soon!! Good luck and SSBD!!

Thank you both.  I know you are experiencing a loss right now, and I am so sorry.  It is a terrible experience I would not wish for anyone.  I had a natural m/c. just used the pills to induce contractions.  I just really didn't want a D&C, but I also didn't want to wait indefinitely for the inevitable to occur.  I am just frustrated because I don't want to get my hopes up just to have them fall.  My husband is fortunately being great about it.  I am so sorry for both of your losses. Steph, congratulations on your BFP. SMR - if there is anything I can do to help you, if you just need someone to listed, I am more than happy to help, just know we are all praying for  you.

Sorry you have to go through this. After a m/c your cycle can become a little crazy and may take a few months to regulate. I know how hard that can be especially when your TTC. Did you have a D&C or a natural m/c? I'm sorry for your loss and know the feelings all to well. I pray that your af gets back on track and you get your BFP soon.

I'm so sorry for your loss and your frustrated with your cycle.  I had a m/c in June and got my cycle back about 29 days after my D&C and then my cycles were all over the place for the next few months.  I had one cycle that was 21 days and another that was 30 days long.  I think it just takes some time to regulate it's self.  Mine had finaly returned to normal around 28/29 days and then the next month got a BFP.  I hope this helps. I understand how frustrating it can be, hang in there.
