Okay so I have noticed a trend. When the furnace is on and I'm all covered up, my temps hover around 97.7. If the furnace is off and I'm not feeling warmed up in the covers or hubby steals my covers in the morning then I run about 97.2. So, I don't know how this will effect my chart. I am hoping when I O there will be enough of a change to create the coverline. If not, what do I do???
I agree.... I usually stop temping after I O then start up again just before AF is due. but even that seems pointless because my temp will either go down the day AF arrives or over the few days after she arrives.
I guess AF is due the day before I leave for Vegas. AF after the surgery was a tiny bit of spotting and that's it so if im not preggers now im wonder how heavy she will be next time around. hopefully I wont have to find out any time soon!!!!!
Thanks Vanessa! I can always count on you for good info! :) It just made me freak out because the last time I temped my coverline was around the temps I've been getting lately! For me I tend to get less sleep after O! I keep waking up hoping and praying my temp doesnt drop!! LOL! In fact, I think I might only temp until I O...because really, after Oing, there's not much more I can do from there!
we so need emoticons!!!!!! I did request it once before and I think they said they were working on it.
I'm gone say the heavier blankets etc have a lot to do with it. I found this not long ago on fertility friend... I seem to find some good info there about BBTing. here is what it says...
"Usually temperatures stay roughly within the same range from cycle to cycle if there are no changes in your environment or sleeping conditions. Slight changes in your environment or sleeping conditions, however, can impact your temperature range from cycle to cycle. Changing your waking time, using heavier or lighter blankets, turning on (or off) the air conditioning or heat, or seasonal changes can change the range of your temperatures. As long as you can still see an ovulation pattern on your chart, the actual temperatures are not critical. If you notice significantly higher or lower temperatures that you can not associate with a change in your lifestyle or environment, then this is something to mention to your doctor, especially if it is taking a long time to conceive."
hope this helps! you know when I am BBTing before O i have the worst sleep! I wake off and on from early morning and im sure that makes my temps all over the place.
