TTC After a loss... Need some advice........

Hey Folks... I have a question....

I m ttc after a loss at 7 weeks in dec 2008. After which we have been on 6 cycles of clomid, but no pregnancy. My gyno has given me appnt  for next monday, for further discussing the options for me.....

I m not sure what to expect in that meeting....

can anyone please suggest what options are best for me? I have heard abt injectables and iui but donno much abt them..

I m kinda depressed, since its been more than 1 year since we are actively TTC........
Any kind of advice would make a lot of difference!!!!

Thanks in advance
Joy.

Have you tried using ovulation predictor kits, they would give you a good idea on if you are ovulating or not and help you to know when to have intercourse.

Welcome to our group.  My DH and I have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility so I understand your frustration.  We have been TTC for over 3 years with one m/c in 2008.

Have you had all of the testing done?  FSH, progesterone, HSG and hubby's seman analysis?  If not, that is your very next step.

If so, I would suggest that you move on to a fertility specialist, a Reproductive Endocronoligist (RE).  An OB can only take you so far in the process, you are better off working with a specialist.

Are you ovulating on your own?  I O on my own, but have done several rounds of Clomd and several rounds of Femara to produce more then one egg to up our chances.  We also did one round of Femara with the Ovidrel shot.  The shot forces you O at a certain time, so your sex will be timed perfectly.

The next step after that is IUI.  You can do it with either oral meds (Clomid or Femara) or injectables.  Injectibles can get very expensive and require alot more monitoring to ensure that you don't over stimulate you ovaries.

If you have any more questions, just let me know.  I'm happy to help :)

I am sorry for your loss.  I don't have any information to offer, but hopefully someone who has used treatments beyond clomid will respond to your post.  If not, you may also want to try posting your question in the Fertility forum because the women there may have more knowledge of fertility treatments and drugs.
