Any suggestions?

Hi, Ladies! Well, my hubby and I are ttc, have been for about 8 months after having a mc last Oct. So, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for what I should or shouldn't be doing? I am currently taking a pre-natal vitamin daily, and going to attempt to lose a little weight, lol! Are there any exercises that would be good to be doing? I am open to any suggestions, I have an appt with my OBGYN next month, to have a checkup and see if I may need to get on any meds. My hubby works 14/14 and I have discovered that I ovulate while he is gone. :( Thanks in advance to any suggestions, we have one beautiful little boy, but are wanting to expand our family! Good luck and prayers to everyone!

The first time my husband and I tried to have a baby it took us about 8 or 9 months to fall pregnant.  That one ended 17 weeks later in a miscarriage.  THen the second try only took us 2 months.  I swear by the Ovulation Predictor Kits.  THe first month we tried them we got pregnant.  I found out I was ovulating very early in my cycle and we were missing our timing.  I used the Answers Brand test strips that come in a box if 20 test strips.  I am their biggest advocate.  Good luck to you.

Hi there, my first pregancy i had a miscarriage. so after that i lost some weight by walking and doing some light weight training - just at home with a cheap set of hand weights! I also took vitamins like you and did alot of relaxation as my job was stressful!.
It's ***** that your hubby will be away but BD every day until he goes and you never know how long the little swimmers will last in there....it's worth a try!

Good luck xo

Thanks ladies! I charted my ovulation online last night and I will ovulate a few days after my hubby leaves. :( But my cycle has been coming earlier every month, so I am crossing my fingers that it will come early this hitch and I will ovulate before he leaves! I am not giving up, my BFP is coming, I am keeping the faith! :) You girls are so helpful, and encouraging to me!

I agree that exercise is good...helps with stress reduction.  I had a m/c in Feb. 09 and it took us 11 cycles of ttc before I got pg. again....so don't give up!!  I lost 10 lbs the month i got my bfp so i think that also helped.  Have you tried using ovulation predictors?  I used the digital ones from clear blue easy and they really helped...i didn't try them the whole time except for the month I got pregnant...so call it luck or otherwise..I swear by them! :)  Good luck to you!!

Yoga is good. There is even some moves you can look up that are good for blood flow to the important parts! Any exercise would be good, helps keep things healthy. Eating good is important. I've heard Co Q 10 is good for good blood flow too but I'm not sure it's ok to take once your pregnant. No sure fix unfortunately! I'm still trying. Good luck to you.
