I would strongly recommend that you see a neurosurgeon and/or pain specialist. You would need a thorough spine examination and pain evaluation.
An MRI of your spine would be helpful.
Depending on the findings, pain blocks, physical therapy and sometimes even minimally invasive spine surgery may be helpful.

think i spoke too soon....my back has been killing me lately....maybe the humidity has some sort of trigger.....maybe even stress.....
hi, sounds like maybe you have sciatica....i have it, but, the pain will radiate from my hip/tail bone, down to my knee, ill actually limp on one leg it hurts soooo bad.....i havent had an episode in a while due to the fact that i lost weight(too much) due to post traumatic stress, but when i weigh more, that is when i notice i have it......id rather weigh what i used to and have the pain of sciatica, than be underweight like i am now, and constantly feel fatigued...im 5'3 and weigh 100lbs., i used to weigh 127-130, and felt a lot healthier.........i just wish i had my appetite back....stress, problems seem to never end.....
anyhow, i hope you feel better......800mg. motrin and a heating pad should help out...
