16 and just diagnosed with scheuermann's kyphosis??? plz help me

hi my name is vanessa and im 16....i've been sick for a very long time i have a
disease called dysautonomia and it affects the autonomic nervous system. and on
NOVEMBER 9 2008 i was laying in my bed and all of a sudden my body went stiff
and ever since then my back has curved but now it has gotten worse and I CANT
TAKE THE PAIN ANYMORE!!!!! my curve is 80 degrees and has progressed in just
2months i am seeing a spine specialist but he wants me to wear a milwaukee brace
but when i went to go get casted for 1 i counldnt bear the PAIN! my face turned
red and i was shaking it felt like i was being stabbed under my ribs and through
my back and my hips felt like they were gunna BRAKE! so i cant do the brace but
he wont listen! even the doctor who was casting me said he didnt think i could
do the brace but i dont know what to do he wants to try the brace but it put me
in TREMENDOUS PAIN what should i do please help i am so desperate my back is
getting so bad i cant go out to the store or with friends if i do its only for
10min and i cant sit down for along time because then my back starts to feel
like its stuck and the pain is UNBEARABLE!!!

Oh hun, I am so sorry u are having to deal with so much!!!!! *hugs* I wish I had something to offer you, but all I have is my encouragement to u to cont fighting for pain relief and ways to search for ways to help improve ur disease. Hang in here hun!!

I have Kyphosis myself but mine is not 80 degrees, I've never seen Kyphosis that bad before. I would mention to your doctor about how much pain the brace is causing and see if there is something he/she can do to help relieve the pain.
