Fusions

Oct.2015 I had spinal fusion done on my lower neck. Two weeks after I fell off my porch and landed on my right arm. I felt a sharp pain starting from my finger tips up to my spine  neck area where the fusion was done. I had another MRI and x-rays and nothing now my right hand has tremors, pins and needles in my right pinky and the finger beside it, some pain in my right arm, but scares me now my right leg and hip are having issues. Can a MRI miss something?

Are you still under the care of the Surgeon who did the fusion, what did he/she say about your fall and resulting pain? Have they been x-raying you periodically to check on the progress of your fusion? I think I was checked 3 times when I had my 1st one done.

Is this the same type of pain you had prior to surgery, same side? Has it gotten any better, worse? Were you sent to P.T. ? Oct really isn't that long ago, It took me 9-10 months to recover and I still had quite a bit of pain even after all that time.

Yes, it is possible that the Radiologist  who looked at your scan might have minimized some finding, it really hard to say. Ime I've found that the interpretation of  scans can vary tremendously.
