Having pain after neck fusion with hardware. also weird crunching noise
I had a cervical neck fusion with hardware 22 days ago on c3-c4 c4-c5 and c5-c6. I done well until 3 days ago when I failed to follow my doctors orders. I was not suppose to not lift but ended up lifting our baby 23 pounds off and on for about 6 hour straight. The night I done this I woke up to awful pain and this pain has continued also have a crunching noise when I turn my head both ways. What are the chances I have injured myself. I stay in pain but it gets worse when I turn and when it makes this crunch noise. Thank You for your Time.
There should be an emergency phone number for your surgeon's office. Let them know what is going on; where the pain is and the severity of the pain. Be as persistent with the doctor as the pain is persistent with you.
To be honest with you I am about to point of pain I could go to ER It is all I can do to fight back tears...............Pressure and Pain Bad!
