How long should I be in pain after RFA?

I had RFA on Thursday so I am 2 days post procedure. My pain Managment Dr. performed the procedure, I was sedated but not asleep. I didn’t feel pain with the exception of the shots to numb the area. I was not in pain until around 6 hrs post procedure.  I have been having pain in my back and down my legs. I can’t get comfortable no matter what position I lay in or try to sit in a recliner. I had the RFA in my L5 S1. I am taking flexerill and pain medicine. The Dr.’s office said a day of pain was normal but that I should be better by now. I am at my wits end. Has anyone had this happen to them and if so for how long. I am a single mother and an esthetician so I don’t think I can sit and do facials and other things at work.
