I lost back mobility after being pushed.

On Dec 19th, I was at a friend's house and another guest and I had an altercation. (We were both drunk.) The guest pushed me and when I fell backwards, I fell on my mid back area on the back of the couch. I immediately heard several popping sounds as if I was being adjusted at the chiropractor's office only I ended up falling forward in pain and couldn't move for a couple minutes. The pain was awfully intense and then I finally got up.
Since then, I can no longer bend backwards and when I first stand up, I can't stand straight. I walk hunched over most of the time now and while I can still lay on my back in bed, (I'm a back sleeper), I find myself waking up several times a night to switch to my sides for relief of pain.
I want to see a Dr for xrays but I have no insurance.
Any suggestions for pain or how long I will be in pain?
