Neck Pain

I have had pretty severe Pain in the back of my neck that radiates into the back of my head for about 5 months now. I've seen my Dr. and at first he said a pulled muscle then when it did not go away he tried PT, still no relief so he tried these shots that numbed the area for a couple hours, but that was it. There's also lumps now, at my hairline and in the mid neck close to the spine, I decided to see another Dr. and she seemed pretty certain I had lactic build up in my muscles and suggested massage to release it. That tried, I am still suffering from pretty bad pain and I'm pretty positive it is the cause of the terrible headaches I've been having. Just wondering if there's any help/suggestions here for me? I'm sick of being in pain pretty much all the time...

Hi,
How are you? What diagnostic tests were done?  Imaging studies such as CT scan or MRI may help rule out anatomical issues. The headaches may indeed be associated with the neck pain. If the previous medication and management are not helping, further evaluation and referral to a neurologist may also help. Complementary and alternative medicine including acupuncture and biofeedback therapy may also provide relief. Take care and do keep us posted.

It has been a long time since I've been on here.
But I have not had a CT or anything done still to this day as I don't have insurance and can not afford such expensive tests, that being said it is also nearly impossible to find a nuero dr to see me as well.
The pains have gotten intensely worse and I now experience a pain on the left lower to mid section of my head that gets pretty intense, I've been experiencing EXTEREMLY random boughts of nausea and vomiting ( might add pregnancy not possible, periods have been regular and on time) But I am finally about to have insurance so I will have the means to truly start working towards an answer very soon! If there's anything you might be able to help with or give advice on I'm all ears!
   Thank you!

In the last 4 days I have developed a stabbing pain in my upper right side (chest) and seems to radiate causing pain in my shoulder. It is worse when I breath in deeply, laying down and if I accidentally lay on the right side it seems to be much worse. Can anyone help? Trying to avoid another costly dr visit if possible. I'll have insurance next month...!
