Neck pain after being choked

I was attacked last night and was choked. I was able to get away but noticed neck pain especially when I swallow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was choked last week and the pain in my neck is getting worse. It is getting more difficult to swallow. Sometimes it seems as if my throat will lock up. Thinking I should see a doctor, and wondering if this is from being choked.
