Wow!...you need to see a doctor somehow, being in that much discomfort with no pain management or not knowing it is something more serious is not good. I know you don't have insurance but with your situation a hospital or urgent care is your option, plus as long as you make arrangement to pay even $20 a month, they work with you as long as you are paying something. You could have something very serious.

I am going to asume you make too much money to recieve state assistance? What about clinics for low income or no insurance that use a sliding scale fee? It wouldn't hurt to look into if you haven't.

Good Luck!

I know just how you feel  I also am having neck pain and headaches and have no insurance.  After years of wonderful insurance coverage, my husband had to take an
early retirement leaving me at 60 with no insurance coverage.  He can go to VA but I am
screwed so to speak.  I was able to go to a clinic and was approved for a sliding scale
fee which is wonderful, but the problems I have are too complicated for a GP and I
have to go to a neurologist on March 6.  I have already been to ER and had a cat scan
which was normal and bloodwork.  At this time I hope I can be diagnosed without having
a MRI which is very costly.  When I went to ER I filled out papers for medical assistance
to pay my ER bill.  I have not heard back from them as yet.  So much for trying to take
care of myself, I do not smoke or drink and get plenty of exercise and take vitamans just
so I could stay healthy until I can get medicare.  Can not afford health insurance as we
live on a fixed income.  Hope you get the help you need soon.  Chronic pain is so
depressing and keeps you from doing the things you enjoy.   Bests wishes
