cervical myelopathy

I went to a neuro surgeon for the second time today and he said I have cord compression with the spondylosis C4,C5, C6 and have to have surgery. He said it will progress to paralysis. Has anyone had Atlantis cervical plate with anterior approach fusion and how are you now?

How are you doing?  I am now facing the same thing you were facing in 09.  I unfortunately have heart problems too so surgery could have other complications.  I am waiting for insurance pre-approval.  Any advice?  I'm scared to death so any feedback at all would be appreciated.  thank you  ***@****  just put cervical in the subject line please
