i had surgery jn 2006, the Doctor tore a hole in the dura, I had surgery to fix it, but it still leaks some, it  has been 4 years, now i am turned away by other Doctors because they dont want to try to fix another Doctors screw up's. That is whati am told. The neurosergeon that did my surgery will not do anything for me. I have sever headaches, severe back and leg pain, And the Doctors will not even treat my pain except wiyh cortisone injections. I am begining to believe all Doctors hae no Humanity,, Unless you are rich.. What can i do?

If you have a CSF spinal fluid leak they are not treating it very seriously and I personally would get a new opinion. I had a terrible leak post back surgery and there are two ways to stop the leak: 1.  a blood patch where they take fresh blood from your arm and shoot it into your spinal cavity to cover the leak; 2. Surgery to find and seal the leak. A lumbar puncture can cause this leak. You might want to try just heading to the ER and telling them that you have a spinal fluid leak from a lumbar puncture, it is common after a lumbar puncture. They can do the blood patch on the spot. If you are leaking out your back at the site of the lumbar puncture, it could because spinal fluid is similar to teflon - it will keep the puncture hole open and let the blood and spinal fluid continue to leak out your back. A spinal fluid leak causes a severe headache that cannot be cured with medications. If something like bacteria gets in thru the hole, you can have some serious spinal problems.
