neck pain

Hi, Im a 33 yr old male that has been having terrible headacks and neck pain for the last 12 years of my life .I have a young family and this neck pain has been ruining my life , Im on 3 different medications had botox injections and other and I still wake up with pain every single day the meds do not take it away just dulls it for about an hour or two if Im lucky. I constintly have a aching neck and I feel a lump or hard spot on the right side of my spin about two fingers down from the base. What brings on a full pain attack lasting a couple days not even the meds will touch is whenever my neck is bumped , tapped even litely and also have a hard time looking upwards without supporting my neck. MRI and xrays are not showing athing.  I can not live like this any more Please Im looking For Help  with the diagnosis

Andrew, I have lived with neck pain since 1990 from a car accident I was in.  I also had migraines from my injury for years and was taking injections for my migraines.  It was the only thing I could take to help me function for the day, otherwise I would be "down" all day.  Sometimes my migraines would last days.  It was very difficult to deal with the pain so I understand what you are going through.  I ended up having neck fusion at 2 different levels.  So obviously my MRI showed bulging discs.  Have you thought about maybe getting a second opinion somewhere else?  It's just doesn't sound right that nothing is showing up on your tests, that's strange with all the pain that you're in.  It would be great if it's nothing serious and all in your muscles or something.  I encourage you to hang in there and don't lose hope.  Maybe it's a matter of finding the right doctor or trying different things until you find something that works.  I pray you get some answers soon.  It took me years to get to the right doctors and find the things to help me.  Hopefully for you, Andrew, you can get some help soon.  I wish you all the best.

can someone please tell me how I can change the pain severityon my Pain Tracker I just started I tried sliding the arrow over but it does not work thanks Andrew .
