I agree with nursegoody. Get a second opinion with a specialist. Usually numbness tingling or pain is a sign of a pinched nerve somewhere maybe your doctor just didn't see it. You can get your mri from the doctor and take it to the new one so that you don't have to pay for another test. Good luck to you hope things are better soon.

I'd recommend having another MD take a look at your MRI...I've read alot on forums(and my own experience) where the Radiologist misdiagnosis cause sadly to say they normally look for the "obvious" or are looking for an already "diagnosed" injury"...where as an Ortho Surgeon who specialized in Cervical Surgeries or Neurosurgeon are more likely to see the tiniest of things...they are use to seeing and handling the tiniest of problems...My first reading of my MRI said I had a "slight bulge" at C6...in the end I had a bulged C5 and a complete rupture of C6...C6-7(diagnosed by my Surgeon) were bone on bone when I had surgery on April 18th 2011!!!  I too had Neck Pain...Numbness...Tingling...Spasms from L of neck down to L fingertips...looking up at the sky about killed me and I got to where I was having trouble driving...couldn't look left to right very good and L arm would start bothering me when I had my hand up on the steering wheel for too long!!!  I had PT and 2 Cervical Injections for pain management...NONE of it worked...when I woke up from surgery my pain was down from a constant 8 with meds to a 5ish with meds...I only have 3 little spots that burn down my L arm and I have the use of 3 fingers back!!!!  I'm not saying you have ruptured discs but this story sounds OH SO FAMILIAR!!!!  I hope you get to feeling better and get the help you need....keep us up to date on how your doing and what your diagnosed with....Take Care...
