problems in the thoracic area

Just over a year ago I had an MRI of the thoracic area.  It showed three compressed discs and a lesion between the t8 and t9.  I can't run, or walk right, stand for more then a few minutes at a time.  I have pain 24/7  that burns from back to front, like someone stabbed a hot poker through my body.  My left leg is hyper-sensitive and I can't feel heat on my right leg, no hot water, no hot air, not even direct heat.  After reading these forums it seems that I may have had a herniated disc, but there is nothing in my spinal chord area, except a lesion.  The doctor said I should be ok in 2 to 3 months, but it has been over a year and I am becoming real discouraged and feeling that I may be paralyzed like this for the rest of my life.  I am a 41 year old male with a new daughter and a 5 year old son that I can't chase after.  Help please, I have to be fixed or I'm not real sure that I want to continue living this way.  I have tried inverting to relieve the pressure on the vertebrate, but it don't work.  Is there a machine or treatment that will relieve the pressure and maybe free any nerves that may be pinched, if that's even the case.  Please help.

You may need to see a neurologist and a pain
management doctor! if this is chronic pain you
can get a spinal cord stimulator.

I am sorry I don't know what the device is called, but there is an electronic device that is designed to send electrical pulses in the system instead of pain. I will try to get the name of it ASAP.
