Having 2 slavers and a metal plate put in how long will I be in hospital and how long is recovery

i finally had the surgery but im in worse pain now than before. The headaches are awful can't even get out of bed somedays and having convulsions 4 to 6 times daily if you touch a certain spot in my neck it triggers the shaking its been 4 months and they seem to be getting worse. I have an appointment with a neurologist september 10th i will update you after my visit and maybe someone can help me
