I also have occasional muscle spasms, which the physio said should have nothing to do with my neck.
no i didnt have even so much as an x-ray. From what I understand MS is caused by scaring to the spinal cord, or can be. I have a friend who has 2 bulging disks, and he was sent for physio like me. The Doctor he sees has told him that actually doing the physio, has caused scaring that he can never repair (is this called stenosis), and is now suing them. I have experienced anxiety and at the moment im not that bad, but am being referred to cognitive behavioural therapy for it.
I shake a fair bit and the physio told me to see my gp about the migraines, Im just worried that without proper care, I could end up like my friend permanently damaged. I did search the internet and ended up here http://info.noelbatten.com/cervical_xrays_of_three_patients.pdf
They could be due to anxiety and depression. I know every time I look up symptoms on the internet I have every disease known to man. I too feared I might have MS. My brother has it, so I am somewhat more likely to get it than the general population. The symptoms you refer to seem more like anxiety but if you go to a neurologist and want to get tested, keep in mind that their is no conclusive test for MS. So your anxiety will not go away.
Did you get an MRI or CT scan of your cervical spine and do you have stenosis of the spinal cord? The C2 disk would probably cause pain in the shoulders and neck.
