EXAMINATION: MRI BRACHIAL PLEXUS WWO CONTRAST LEFT
TECHNIQUE: Left brachial plexus MRI with and without contrast. 17 cc ProHance
administered.
COMPARISON: None
FINDINGS: Multilevel cervical degenerative change most severe at C6-C7 where
there is moderate to severe disc space narrowing and extensive endplate reactive
edema. Several millimeters of retrolisthesis also identified at this level. Mild
degrees of spinal canal narrowing present at C3-C4 and C6-C7 because of
posterior disc osteophyte complexes. There is also severe right-sided facet
arthropathy at C4-C5.
No masses identified along the course of the left brachial plexus. No masses
identified at the left lung apex. The nerve roots of the brachial plexus are
symmetric size and signal intensity. The scalene triangle is unremarkable.
Moderate left AC joint arthropathy is present. Visualized portions of the
rotator cuff musculature unremarkable.
