You still haven't mentioned the original diagnosis.
A laminectomy is to open facet joints which are causing nerve compression. I don't think it's very common to do, without also doing a discectomy. I would be surprised if you had facet joint compression without disc involvement, but I wouldn't know enough about the specifics to know if that is common or not.
It sounds to me like you probably need a revision surgery. You should at least be getting another MRI.

Dear Edward
Iv had Laminectomy. I get the tingling all the time. I'm not worried about numbness, however the numbness hasn't cleared yet. The cold time of the year make it worse. I don't have any hip problem, neither leg problem. The tingling is so upsetting, it goes to my brain and doesn't let me concentrate. Also the sharp pain on my lower back makes me worried, I didn't have this kind of sharp pain before operation.
thank you

What was the original diagnosis? What operation was performed?
Has Sciatica been discussed?
When do you get the numbness and/or tingling?
Are there things that make it worse, things that make it better?
Do you have any hip problems, or leg problems other than mentioned, that may on the surface seem irrelevant?

hi
iv had lower back op nearly 10 months ago in London. before operation iv had tingling on my right leg, numbness and pain. i could easily go to gym and start lifting, i also could sit down for long time, however after operation, i still have tingling, numbness, pain all the time and of course i cant go to gym anymore. iv been promised 70% of improvement before my operation. iv had physio, massage, hot water bottle etc etc,
three months after my op iv been referred to new MRI scan that could show any problem, but the result of the scan looks fine.
i wish i didnt have that operation done.
thank you

Well, since you haven't even mentioned what the problem is and you appear to have given up already, then you are right; there is no solution.

Or, you can recognize that every problem has a solution, and a person just needs to be willing to put in the work to find it.
