spot in throat

Wondering if any doctors or nurses or anyone might have some insight on why i have a blister/pimple looking spot on the back of my throat directly behind my uvula. It does not hurt but my right side of throat feels little irritated and i also get headaches and what feels like an earache all on the right side.Been to the doctor and he does not seem to know what it is,have a appointment with ent if 2 weeks.I have no other symptoms and does not hurt to swallow.

The augmentin probably isn't working as it may be a viral infection by your description. Sometimes these things take a while to go away.

Oh btw when i seen the doc he said he didnt feel or see any swelling, and no ear or nose infections. Also that spot had been there for about a month and the other symptoms for last couple weeks. Also i have been taking painkillers for last 7 months, about 15-20mg a day.I also took about 15 tablets of a strong antibiotic called augmentin but it didnt seem to help.
