Left side neck pain & temple pain

I had cervical fusion at C5/6 & C6/7 four 1/2 yrs ago. Have been doing very well since surgery.  Started having strange headaches last year in left temple and jaw area.  Went to e/r and after cat scan was told it was most likely TMJ.  I have been wearing bite guard for last year and it got better but started hurting again this week really bad and having spasms in jaw and now my neck is killing me on the left side.  Pain is going up the left side of neck and down left shoulder into arm.  Have not had chance to go to doctor yet but am wondering if anyone with cervical disc problems has ever had it to affect temple and jaw area of face???  Am thinking maybe this isn't TMJ at all....

I had a C5-C6 anterior fusion in 2006 performed by a Neurosurgeon.  Been doing ok except for the past 2 months, I am now experiencing burning/spasms/excruciating neck pain down my left arm into my hand and fingers....numb and tingling.  Prior to this surgery, I had severe headaches.Once I had the surgery my headaches were few and far between.  Just visited my doctor and he ordered an MRI.  With my symptons, it may be that the plate has slipped, moved or has become loose; or it could be another disk gone bad.  Once your disks are fused, the ones below and above are compromised.   I would have an MRI done to rule out.

I have this exact same ordeal. I do not think mine is spine related at all. My pain doesnt really travel to my arm, it stays more in my jaw, neck, shoulder.

Ive started lifting weights to strengthen the back and shoulder area, and i think its helping. My dentist and doctor definately think mine is TMJ. X-rays showed nothing, but i havent had a MRI yet. Doc didnt want to do it just yet.
