Neck and shoulder pain and loss of energy after neck fusion surgery

I was in a car accident where two teens were texting and came over in our lane and hit us head on. My wife was OK after some PT but I developed neck nerve pain. It was a year of PT and other things including neck injections of anti inflammatory. None of this helped and it was decided the last thing to do was neck surgery. that was at the end of April 22. Its been almost 6 months and I have developed burning neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain in the muscle, tired all the time. I can wake up after several hours sleep and want to take a nap in two hours. I don't know if this is all due to the surgery but I also had to go off of testosterone. I was giving my self shots for several years no issue, then suddenly I got a spike in my levels. So I went to the Dr and we decided to let it go for two months no injections, then start up instead of every week or two to go every month. I am due to check the levels in early Oct. So I don't know if some is due to this or not. But the shoulder pain and neck burning is from the surgery there is no doubt on that. I go in for my 6 month check up with the surgeon at the end of Oct. Last time I was in a couple of months ago he said that my issues were very normal. He said that most of the issues and pain are usually gone in 6 months, but mine are not. Not sure what is going on. Thanks for any help
