upper back pain

hello there,
I have been frustrated over the past two weeks every doctor I go to tells me its just a twisted back muscle unknowingly, without them running any tests, advising me to take ibuprofen tablets and get a muscle relief gel. I done those both, but neither have an effect, the situation continues and the pain does not stop even with a pain killer., I have done my research but there's not exact answer.
Basically my upper back has been giving me some deep and sharp pains that sometimes rolls to both my ribcage, especially when breathing in deeply, with movement, wearing a bra, and laying down is one of the most challenging. I hunch my back when walking and try as much to keep it stiff, and have very short breaths, that's somewhat my "comfort zone". I have completely lost my appetite. I have tried sleeping on all sorts of surfaces but that has not made a difference, I haven't been participating in any vigorous form of sports nor am I a smoker (highly doubt that this has to do with my lungs).
The pain continues sometimes worse than the previous day, am so fed up with it. I really want it to go, I cant take the pain no more.

they should give you an xray to rule out shingles or inflammation and fluid in the lining of your lung.  not an emergency, but very painful   maybe try an ER as they usually do a better job and checking those things out
