Does B 12 induce manic episode. I got 2 shots, after the 1st (a week ago0 I felt great with no anxirty. Yesterday after the 2nd I felt restless. do you know anything about B 12

B12, at least in the pill form, is a vitamin that is often given for concentration and energy deficiency. I have taken it before during depression to aid me coming out of it and I would say that yes, if you are not in a state of deep depression and you are bipolar, the shots could aid in inducing mania.

I give myself B12 injections monthly and it does not make me feel manic. To be honest, with you I don't feel any different but my bloodwork shows I'm low so I take it.
