Meds making food taste bad

I am currently taking Lithium, Cymbalta, and Geodon and I was wondering if anyone, that has taken these medications, has experienced their food tasting strange. I have been taking these medications for months now and this is a recent problem. I find that I don't want to eat and when I do it can taste a little off.

Included in my regimen are Geodon and Cymbalta. I noticed when I added the Geodon, I am not as hungry and food does not always taste as good. It has improved over the course of the year, but I have other more bothersome side effects from the Geodon. It has helped me in so many ways, I stay on it.
Do you have any other side effects from the Geodon?

I take Geodone and lamotrigine and I am finding it really hard to keep on weight. I have a really high gag reflex now and food just doesn't taste as good. I think it is the geodone because it started when I started it. It was great at first as I lost a lot of weight. I am down to a size 4 now though when I really should be at a size 6. I do not look healthy.

I am currently taking cymbalta.  I know it has helped me lose weight and my food also taste strange or it could be that I am not as hungry as I usually am and food just has no more meaning to me like it used too.

    I have had some medications including lithium give me a metallic taste in my mouth.I have had other medications cause changes in weight and appetite including some that caused weight loss and a decrease in appetite.I have not had the two occur together but it would be worthwhile to discuss this with your  psychiatrist. Also it could be an interaction of the various  medications so depending on the cause and extent of the problem they should be able to decide how to appropriately address this and adjust and/or change your medications as needed.
