DUAL PERSONALITIES

Does anyone out their in the forum who has the same problem I have......I have 2 personalities...At least that is what they tell me....I don't realize it but 2 many people says that I am 2 different people..Is this par for the course for a person with Bi-Polar?....I'm confused.

Thanks LeftCoastChick, I forgot to say that you need to get a professional diagnosis. LCC is quite right. On here we can only give advice and support based on our personal experiences and cannot give a diagnosis.

Like the previous person said - if it's mood changes, totally normal, and called rapid cycling which I have.  If you actually have 2 distinct personalities with diff names, that's not BP at all.  Are you under psychiatric care, if you aren't please look for one, only a trained professional can really diagnose that. If you are talking about, one day your fine, next day your not, one day your angry, one day your sad, one minute your anxious, next minute your joyous, one day you can conquer the world, another you can't get of bed etc etc  - or flip between these through-out the course of the day, then yes.  I see it more as mood swings/changes and not personality changes.

Mood swings are exactly what BP is all about.
