Some of them like Geodon do in fact leave your system within 24 hours because it only has a half-life of 2-5 hours while others like Abilify have a half life of 72 hours I think it was. The longer the half-life, the longer it takes for you to go through withdrawal.
I think it goes out of our system every 24 hours that's why we have to take them at the same time every day.
It depends on the half-life of the drug. One half-life means half of it is out of your systems, the second half-life means half of that half is out, and so on. It is generally accepted that after 7 half-lifes that a drug is entirely out.
they have the info on all meds I believe on there half life u can look up and im not sure but double that and that should be how long it lasts in your system. the half life is how much is been processed by your liver I think. I'll do some research and get back later on. Hope everything goes well for u. and thanks for everything you do for are country!
I'm sure the pharmacist would know for sure. I hope you don't have to wait too long for your test. Sounds like it could be rough. :(
thanks. these are allpsychiatric...lithium, lamictal, seroquel, cymbalta.
That is a tough question. I think it depends on specific drug or chemical that you're taking. For example, Vitimin C only lasts for 24 hours and only up to 100% daily recommended dose is effective. You just pee out the rest. On the other hand, a drug like marajuana lasts in your system for about 2-4 weeks, if I remember correctly. I remember when I was on Abilify it took about 1-2 weeks. Those are just some that I remember off the top of my head.
If this is your psychiatric or other medication I would just call and ask the pharmacist. They will probably know. If it is other types of drugs, then I'm not sure where you could find that info. Maybe on the addictions page, they will know how long it takes for withdrawl symptoms and all of that.
