Lamictal
I have started taking Lamictal and it seems to be working to keep the mania under control. But the pills taste so bad. What are some other medication options?

but there should be a way to mitigate that effect from the Lamictal. Discuss that with your psychiatrist as well as from what you say it is working and that was the only specific side effect you described of concern.

I am on the pills you swallow... They are very bitter and it's hard to swallow because they taste so horrible. I have to plug my nose to take them and it's getting old. I was just curious about other med options for bipolar I
I would assume you mean the pills that are dissolvable because otherwise they are meant to be swallowed not chewed. If you find the taste of those to be unpleasent just ask for the regular pills that are swallowed. You don't have to change medications.
