Nite time Meds

I was on Seraquell for years.
Now a new Pdoc & new cocktail.
At night she gives me Geodone & Adivan.
I'm used to a bigger push down. I go back in March. Any suggestions for night time meds I could ask her about? Thank you.

I listen to podcasts rather than look at DVDs when I can't sleep.
Sometimes a snack & a couple of cups hot water help too. I have a cat & she's allowed on the bed. She has her own little sheet. It's so peaceful to do mindful breathing exercises and watch her sleep.

Well the Melatonin works just okay for me. But this am it's not working at all. It's 3:30 am and I'm still up. I'm having restless legs so I'm sure that isn't helping.  Withdraw from Klonipin is the cause of the legs issue. My husband put to colors of Klonipin in my pill box. I thought they were the same and he made a mistake, so I cut 2 of them for am and pm in half so the weening process was sped up by accident. It's straight now but I am suffering. I need to be knocked out.

Crystall that's amazing. Seraquell is the most powerful mood stabilizer/sedative I've ever taken. Like Larry. I wanted to watch a movie once & had to have someone hold me up to walk to the bed.
But if melatonin works good for you. The nite meds for my bipolar cocktail are not only for sleep. They regulate me so the BP stays a healthy Bipolar.

If it were me and Seraquel was working I would call the dr and tell them you need it back. I never have understood why a pdoc would take away something that's working. And without  a reaon no less. Like in your case for sleeping.

I take melatonin at bedtime (10 mg for me) and it seems to be helping. It's not perfect but it's better than nothing. Seraquel does not make me sleepy at all. I think it just goes right thru me.

LOL Yeah I made the mistake one time of trying to stay up on the Seroquel.  I was walking back to my room and stumbling.  When I got back tot he room I tried to sit on the bed to take my pants off.  I missed the mattress and hit the side of the bed hard breaking my tailbone.  I never tried to stay up again on the Seroquel.

Yes. Me too. I got lucky with Seraquell. Don't exactly know her logic. But I'd take it and 10 min later I'd be sound asleep for 10 hrs. Getting up only to pee

I took Ambien for a while but I abused it.  That being said I did think it was a good medicine.  I have to stand by my Seroquel.  It is a blessing to have a medicine that just shuts my mind off and lets me sleep..
