Not a question per se

I went to the pharmacist to refill a prescription for effexor xr, I had taken the 150mg in the morning and it was about 3:pm the pharmacist needed to call the doctor at the va for the refill.
I had been homeless for 8 months and got a very good job and had some problems adjusting and was on effexor for about 5 months at the time, things were going much better but still not stable.
Someone at the va told the pharmacist that my doctor was no longer there and could not be reached, her face put fear in me as she told me this, I asked what could happen, she said "you may not have any withdrawal at all but most people do".  The next day I was fine and went to work feeling ok that was a friday and I had a good day at work, came home ate well and went to sleep, though I had not had a drink for effort to go to work, to get ready for work was an effort, 3 weeks later still suffering the same "blah" feeling I decide to go bacseveral years when I woke up I had a "hangover" I figured that it would go away, slept most of the weekend and when monday came it was a complete to go to work even to get ready to work about three monts later I decide to go back to smoking pot as it could not get any worse, the days blurred together, everything had to be forced about 2 months later it occurred to me that maybe I should call and see whether I could track the doctor down.  I called asked for the doctor and was put right through.  I am now pot free for 6 months and things are better but could be much better.  I had smoked for 1 month while getting back on effexor xr and highly do not recommend doing that.  The best part was that I did not start drinking and have not had a drink for 5 1/2 years
