Please do this questionnaire:

Hello Everyone,

I will really appreciate it if quite a few of you get back to me on how you score in this test:

http://www.4degreez.com/misc/personality_disorder_test.mv.

I have 3 in 'very high' and 4 in the 'high' category.

I have to agree with the others on saying this test is a load of **** as far as a diagnostic tool.

I have been dx as an aspie by two different doctors, and that would have a huge effect on this test, as would anyone who is 'shy' (hello, lots of social questions) or just not social.

The hilarious part is I scored 'moderate' on OCD when I am severe day to day. I also have 'schizoid features, although that one was just 'moderate' as well. My very high is something that I asked my dr about and she laughed and said there is no way.

I had mostly high on everything else, and after reading the descriptions I can honestly say there is just no way... I don't fit them at all.

Definitely don't worry about any results from this one... I get the feeling they'd diagnose anyone with anything.

:)

I gotta be honest - I did a different one once, and it freaked me out so bad saying I had so many personality disorders... I went in to see my pdoc in tears! She went through each one and explained why I didn't have them because I was so upset.

I think the thing is personality disorders are sort of just magnifications of personality traits to an extreme... because everyone is like that to some degree, if that makes sense. So you can see yourself in all of them, but it's not actually clinically significant. I imagine there isn't a way to quiz yourself over the internet (or without a professional who knows what they're doing) because the only difference is that it's not clinically significant, therefore not a disorder.

I still think it's funny that the two I actually do have are the ones they scored me lowest on, LOL!

I don't take this seriously as a diagnostic tool.  Just thought I would throw that out before I publish my results.

Very high = 2
High = 4
Moderate = 4

I got very high, high or moderate on every single one.

I have 2 in the high and 4 in the moderate. All the others are low. BUT and this is a big one. For most of those questions it isn't an all the time thing. Do I prefer to be alone for example. Sometimes. So do I put yes or no?

I wouldn't worry too much about the results of this test unless they ring true in your ears. The very highs may be something to talk to a pdoc about but I wouldn't say that means you have a personality disorder.
