Risperdol and Haliuisc

This may be a stupid quesion, but I'm going to put it out there. First of all I guess I'll go throught diagnoses list: Major Depressiom (recurent) with Psychotic features , Panic Disoder, Agoraphobia, and either Bipolar or high-functioning Schizophrenic. My panic attacks are trigged by derealizaion, depersonalizatuon, and psychosis.

I began toaking Risperidone (Risperdal) for a few days. Beforre I took the medicine, I had been having psychotic breaks.

For the most part, the mediine help my mind slow down,but my psychosis is bad. When I get into a qiuet room, or place that's where the ems begin. I hear low talking-- or loud sounds. Usually the "voice" just say random things, like their advertising something.

Please don't tell me I have Schizophrenia.

Does Risperdal cause side effefs? My therapist never tells me what thedrug side effects are. So,. I find outall my inon from the intrrnet.

My therapist won't tell my new idaifnoses.

Haldol gave Tardive Dyskensoa. Rispuiree makes me stumble amd fall.-

I just want to get better.

Possibly extreme anxiec had ben totla horrinle.

I just got  off of resperdal, yesterday.  I explained I was manic yet looking to others for  affirmation. I lost parts of days, just gone.  Conversations I swear I didn't have and I am teaching a class on depression and I was all over the place. I come in here and think I am the only one not getting answered, which is not true. It has affected my marital intimacy worse than any other drug I have ever taken.  I have taken it ONLY five and a half weeks!!!!! He took me off cold turkey, little scared about that and put me on 500mg depakote once a day.  I also have had shorter sleep time, about six hours at the most.  Now tonight, first night off woke up at 3:00am with pain and trying to doze off but can't...I know computer keeps you up.
So yes I believe resperdal does have side effects

i take risperidal for 7 years now at night 1mg i don't feel it has side effects but don't count on me becayuse the dose is small. this drug was the 1st atypical AP in the market and usually pdocs advise it being old so they know the drawbacks

Perhaps you are unaware of the voices at other times but they are masked in ordinrary crowds or sound level? If you were diagnosed with tardive dyskinesia that's of concern because generally at that point Clozaril is considered as its the only antipsychotic currently available that won't worsen it. If you were ruled out as a candidate for Clozaril I could give you further information at that point.
